Encounter Engineering (E²)
This summer camp for incoming freshmen helps you get a head start in topics for Math 1550 (Calculus I), Physics 1100 & Engineering Design.

You will also learn how to manage your time and money, improve your study habits, build lasting friendships and get a general introduction to life as an LSU student. This camp will be held August 13-20, 2009. Enrollment limited to 100. You must be registered as an Engineering Major. The cost of the Program is $275.00

Registration for Summer 2009 will begin from April 2009.

Housing

• You will move into your Fall 2008 Residential Hall Assignment
• For Residential Hall Application, click here
• Check-in begins at 3:00 pm, August 14th, 2008
• A separate charge for housing will appear on your University Fee bill
• Approximate cost of $20.00 a night (early arrival rates)
• Housing is strictly based on full participation in camp
• Failure to participate results in removal from camp

Meals

• Some lunches, dinners & snacks will be provided (See schedule)
• You are responsible for the rest of your meals ; Estimate $25.00 a day
